If you’ve ordered a Belong ADSL Bundle, you need to wait until you’ve received an SMS from Belong confirming your service is active before you start setting up your service.
Once you’ve received this SMS, plug the telephone cable from your base station or handset into the filter port labelled ‘Local Phone’ (this is the same filter you would’ve used to connect your modem to).
If you’ve received an SMS confirming your service is active and tried the steps above but your phone has no dial tone:
- Unplug all equipment from the telephone line (e.g. phone, fax, Foxtel equipment, modem).
- Plug only the phone (without the filter) directly into a telephone socket. If there is a dial tone, use this socket to set up your phone and modem) <>.
- If there’s still no dial tone, check any other phone sockets in the home for a dial tone (if you find a dial tone, use this socket to set up your phone and modem) <>.
- If you still have no dial tone on any phone socket in the home, please contact us and we’ll help you out.
