Before you have a Belong service, on the nbn network, connected at your place it is important to understand how you’ll be connected to the service.

Fibre to the Curb (FTTC)

Before moving to an nbn co FTTC connection you should check the following:
- Do you have any existing medical, fire, or security alarms? If you have equipment that you rely on, check with your equipment provider(s) to confirm they work on the nbn network.
- You’ll need to unplug all devices that are connected to phone sockets in your home. This includes telephones, modems and fax machines. Reconnecting with affect the reliability of your nbn service.
- Remember, if you require a phone service at your home, Belong is not suitable for you.
Do you have power sockets near your telephone socket? You’ll need access to two power sockets for your FTTC connection.
